Hello!

 

My name is Elodie, I grew up in the southern part of France. I am 31 years old.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Human Resources and Administration in Toulouse.

 

I thoroughly enjoyed my studies and learned a great deal in this field; however, when I finished my degree, I realized this discipline was not a good career fit for me for the long term.

In 2014, my partner and I decided to immigrate to Vancouver, Canada. We were drawn to British Columbia's natural beauty, as well as the ability to easily access the "great outdoors," and all it has to offer.  I was also intrigued by British Columbia's multiculturalism, which inspired me to share my own cultural and linguistic heritage.  This interest, coupled with my natural love of children, led me to  become a French Nanny, with the goal of one day opening  my own family daycare.  I worked as a full-time nanny in Vancouver from 2015 to 2018, taking care of children from one month old to five years of age.  

Finally, in 2018, I was able to realize my professional project which was to open a licensed family daycare on Vancouver Island and Fernie. I take care full time of 6 children aged 1 to 5 years old.

After all those years spend in Canada, I finally became Canadian Citizen in 2022.

I am a confident, reliable and emotionally mature child carer, with an abundance of energy and an ability to develop close relationships with both children and parents. I simply love children, and enjoy providing an engaging learning environment.

From my personal experience, after spending 10 years to learn English at School in France, I wasn't able to order a coffee. First day in Canada were quite challenging for me.

Tutoring and speaking with a native English speaker was the best exercise and helped me to learn English in few months.

Every day in my job and in my community I see people interest in French language. With my experience and my knowledges, it's my turn now to help you.
